Microsoft has announced that Windows Server 8 will be called “Windows Server 2012” and will be released later this year.
New feature in Windows Server 2012 will include ReFS (Resilient File System) which will making managing data more robust and scalable considering that the Windows Server 2012 will be a cloud optimized OS. Also, it will feature a new version of Hyper-V and new capabilities for managing and automating multiple servers.
Some key benefits offered by Windows Server 8 (Windows Server 2012) include :

- A scalable and elastic web platform
- Development ease and flexibility
