FTP Transfer Made Easy

You might have often experienced that the built in file manager provided by the web hosts can be slow as well as bit complex to navigate.

Filezilla is a free and extremely simple ftp application which can upload/download files to and fro local and remote host as well as edit files-all of this very quickly and efficiently.

Download it from here and once installed, follow these steps to upload files.

1.Enter the domain name along with ftp user credentials in the window shown and hit Quickconnect.

2.Once connected, there will be two sections, the left side is the local computer from which you want to upload files and the right side is the remote server where these files will be uploaded.
The top most pane shows the connection dialogue between local and remote hosts.

3.Creating and editing directories on the remote web host is done by right clicking and selecting Create Directory, you can also edit files as well as queue them which is pretty neat.

Happy FTP-ing 🙂
