Gmail for mobile phones has a pretty low consumption of resources and is extremely light.
Once installed on the phone,there exists the settings to add multiple Gmail accounts and switch inboxes all under the same app.
Log into Gmail mobile app from the mobile phone,go to Menu > Accounts > Add new accounts.
From here multiple Gmail email accounts can be setup and after that the corresponding inboxes can be switched back and forth and viewed.
I configured a regular Gmail account and added a Google Apps account,works seamlessly for both.
Pretty cool.
